This comic is just what I needed this week. And it has so many fewer calories than #sheetcaking! Every time I’ve listened to some news, I’ve then turned to Heart, Brain, and their body buddies to lift me back up.
I love the conflict between Heart and Brain. They obviously work together, but pull equally hard in opposite directions too. Brain is the reader in me, always looking for more data and details. Heart is the mother in me, with ready hugs and ecstatic butterfly dances. The panels about Gut and intuition were great also, since I trust my gut most of the time.
This is a comic that’ll stand the test of time. I can’t wait to share it with the next generation.
Since this is the first time I’ve read one of The Awkward Yeti books, I’m now looking forward to going back to the earlier books and following them on social media. Maybe this way I’ll survive all the crazy in our world.
Thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for a digital advance readers copy in exchange for my honest review.
