Barbara the Bibliophage

About six years ago, my mother forwarded an email to me. From Dictionary.com, it introduced me to the word bibliophage and I immediately fell in love. With the word, that is. Bibliophage just suits me. I was familiar with “-phage” because of my physiology training. And I certainly have been devouring books since I learned to read at age four.

The email also had a quote in it, which I liked. Are you truly a bibliophage like I am?

I will definitely recommend Kick Pain in the Kitchen to my patients: Those who are looking to avoid pharmaceutical treatment and those who want to combine western medicine with alternative therapies.
